Focusing on the evolution of the new Home Shop for Steinhoff, the brief was to further improve the overall customer experience and promote new and existing ranges of ‘home shop’ products, creating opportunity for higher conversions for the two Steinhoff brands, Bensons for Beds and Harveys.

Our challenge was to create an inspirational in-store ‘Home Shop’ feature to promote a range of products, in a format which would work across a whole range of various store sizes and shapes, while future proofing the feature area for new product lines and seasonal/trend displays.

 

Working closely with Steinhoff throughout the design process, je+1 set to work developing and evolving the new Home Shop, elevating it as a new ‘shop in shop’ zone within the very heart of the in-store customer journey.  

Throughout our designs, we created flexibility for the continuous evolution of product, trend and seasonal displays - which is key to retaining the customer’s interest and increasing return business year round.  

 

In order to allow the Home Shop to continue adapting, we implemented an easily adjustable system for in-store and visual merchandising change overs. To fit the brief, we chose a display system which was simple and cost effective, allowing shelves or hangers to be positioned at a multitude of various heights and configurations.

To capture further impulse sales we implemented on trend pastel hued signage throughout the Home Shop, with complementing timber surrounds to the displays, enhancing a feeling of quality through the store. Finally, a dedicated mid floor pay point was incorporated into the Home Shop, along with a range of inspirational and information graphics.
