We understand the importance of your physical store being an extension of your brand and living up to expectations. We know that in today’s world, providing an immersive experience that brings awareness and ultimately conversion, is key to success.
A store’s Concept or Concept Development is carried out through collaboration. We pay attention to the details through Space Planning, Product Planning and Journey Planning. We design stores in 3D allowing us to walk through them with our clients, ensuring we’re capturing the attention at every point.
Our approach to Store Design allows us to overlay all elements of a store, designing key routes within it, Bespoke Displays and Fixtures, accurate Interior Finishes and Communications.
Brand Spaces

Alongside store projects with our clients, we also create other types of Brand Spaces whether that be Concessions, Galleries, Shop-In-Shop or Pop-Ups. Brand Spaces can vary from introducing a new Brand within a Retail environment creating a new destination, or more temporary installations to bring more brand awareness.
Our experiences have seen us work alongside recognisable brands; collaborating with them in line with their guidelines; creating new concepts and guidelines for others, while we can also create new brands and propositions with our clients. Regardless of scale our process and principles remain the same with a strategic approach focused on ROI for all branded spaces, utilising all of our expertise to deliver successful projects that work.
Workplace Design
Through a combination of skills as designers for Retail and Commercial Interior Design as part of John Evans, we’re also Workplace Designers providing solutions for Offices, Headquarters, Co-Working and Multi-Use Spaces.
Our approach is to provide spaces that represent businesses, tell a story of who they are, perform, and function for all users. Every Workplace or Office Design is different, whether that be to provide an improved working environment or increase employee performance or productivity.
We understand the importance of flow within an Office, through careful planning creating flexibility and multi-use. While the function of workspaces today is always evolving, our experience allows us to create spaces that engage, and are conducive to teamwork and collaboration.

Before the inception of je+1, John Evans’ Retail work began by designing Exhibition Stands for many Homeware and Furniture Brands. It was from there that our store design experience was born, later allowing the creation of who we are today. Whilst again being customer orientated, we’re able to set the tone for any brand exhibition, creating immersive spaces that provide an experience and theatre to enhance products or services.
We also understand that temporary installations such as exhibitions need a different approach to some other projects, and tailor our designs to perform effectively.
